Blood saves lives… and because one donor may only donate 450 ml of blood, we should encourage regular donation of blood among our family and friends. Blood donation is safe and easy, it takes only 20 minutes. The National Blood Centre carries out the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Health for coordinating activities in organising blood donation, separating its components and blood supplies. An event in the cinema was one of many projects pursuing these objectives.
"Event in the Cinema" is the action carried out in the framework of the nationwide campaign to promote honorary blood donation, "your blood - my life". Within this action, an informative action on honorary blood donation was organised in 21 cities in local cinemas. Polish residents going to cinemas over that weekend had a chance to get to know the message from the National Blood Centre by watching promotional videos aired before the screenings and during the sampling of educational and informational materials. Activities in cinemas were publicised in regional radio stations and social media channels.
